Yes, I know there are other questions that have been asked recently about Fordring -- but addressing them would involve major story spoilers which I'm trying to avoid in this column. I promise you answers on what Fordring is up to -- in a different place, locked safely behind spoiler warnings for those who are interested in reading about the new mechanics in the beta without major gameplay spoilers. I'll leave a note here when there's more story to read!
Will school specific spell power increase healing? I have Drape of the Righteous from Kara, which only increases EQ2 Gold holy damage right now. Will it increase healing done by holy spells in Wrath? I have one of those too! And, no, it does not increase healing in Wrath -- school-specific spell power seems to be damage-only.
Something cool that is in the beta right now is a calendar. It's like any calendar mod except it's made by Blizzard. You've got the various days of a month and you can set notes, reminders, etc. World events are also automatically listed. You can right click a date and add a note. The Glyph interface right now has no actual function. It's just "there". It's part of the Inscription profession which isn't completely implemented right now. So there isn't much is known about it. The "Tokens" screen is new and will probably be where your PvP tokens are placed. It's currently non-functional, but we should see something WoW Powerleveling new with it soon.
Read whatever part of the forums you can access. See what threads are available, what people talk about, and how the guild interacts on its website. Also check which forums and threads are locked from your view. What the guild chooses to share about itself and what it keeps from the public can be very telling.
